As a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, I am committed to helping my clients achieve wellness in all areas of their life. I am passionate about working with individuals who are needing some assistance getting back on track to be the best version of themselves. I primarily work with teens, young adults, and adults. I received my education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In my practice, I strive to help my clients discover their personal strengths and work toward developing skills needed to cope and process stressful situations.
My experience in a variety of settings and age groups has given me a thorough understanding of the many areas of mental health. I believe that a very important part of the treatment process is utilizing a wellness model and mindfulness approach with all my clients to create realistic and attainable goals. Areas of concentration include depression, anxiety, stressful life events, life transitions, insomnia, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
I am also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and offer a 6-week program for individuals struggling with insomnia.
