Monica Anderson

BSN, RN

Monica graduated from the College of Saint Mary with her bachelor’s in nursing science in 2004. Early in her career, she was a passionate patient advocate in private duty, home health care and hospice. By holistically caring for both patients and their families, she witnessed an improvement in their relationships and in the patient’s quality of life.

Later, she was a nursing school instructor at College of Saint Mary. Looking back, she recalls the most enjoyable moments were student successes, achievements, and happiness in the holistic nature of nursing.

In 2007, Monica followed her true calling, working on the Advanced Vascular Access Team and in Emergency Medicine, excelling in triage. She has had years developing critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

Monica’s vast nursing experience, natural sensitivity and connection to people along with her interest in overall health and wellbeing make her uniquely qualified to triage and otherwise care for our patients at Element.

In her free time, Monica enjoys spending a great deal of her time with her grandchildren, family, and pets. She also enjoys many hobbies such as gardening, cooking, decorating, repurposing items and expressing her creativity in other ways!
